PETERSEN MEDIA- Climbing back aboard the familiar Agee Motorsports No. 2 over the weekend, Parker Price-Miller would have an up and down weekend with the IRA that culminated with two 11th place finishes.
“It was kind of a weird weekend for us,” Price-Miller said. “We had some good speed, but had to go to the work area both nights so that hampered us.”
Saturday night, Price-Miller would check in at Wilmot Raceway where he would time the 360 Yield/Dupont/Pioneer backed No. 2 entry in fourth fastest in time trials before recording a fourth place finish in his heat race.
Moving into the feature event, Price-Miller would take the green flag from the third row, and would show some speed. Moving up and battling for the fourth position, the Kokomo, IN driver would end up with a left rear flat and be forced to make a trip to the work area.
Restarting from the tail end of the field, Price-Miller had his elbows up as he worked his way forward and finished in the 11th spot.
Traveling to Angell Park Speedway on Sunday night, Price-Miller would get off to a very nice start as he timed the FlyingAG/Agee Farms/Chalk Stix entry in fastest in time trials. Avoiding a near disaster in his heat race, Price-Miller would end up finishing seventh and be forced into the night’s ‘B’ Main.
Taking care of business in the semi, Price-Miller would pick up the win and punch his ticket into the night’s feature event where he would line up in the 19th starting spot.
Working his way forward in the early laps, Price-Miller would find himself in the 13th spot when the race went under red flag conditions on the sixth lap. With damage to the nose of his car, Price-Miller would take another trip to the work area and again restart from the back of the pack.
Just as he did on Saturday night, Price-Miller got what he could out of his machine as he fought back to finish 11th.
“We just got caught up in some racing deals,’ Price-Miller said. “Hopefully this weekend we can get through the night without having to make any trips to the work area. Thanks to my guys for their hard work all weekend.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank 360 Yield, Dupont, Pioneer, FlyingAG, Agee Farms, Encirca, Chalk Stix, Bell Helmets, and PPM Titanium for their support in 2017.
