Midget action saw a couple of thrillers take center stage as Tyler Courtney won on Friday night before Kevin Thomas, Jr used some last lap heroics on Saturday to claim the finale.
In a twin billing in the desert for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, Brad Sweet was able to park the Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49 entry in victory lane on Friday night, with David Gravel grabbing his second win of the year on Saturday aboard the Jason Johnson Racing No. 41.
Dominic Scelzi won the King of the West Opener, while Danny Dietrich won at BAPS, Freddie Rahmer at Lincoln Speedway, Kyle Reinardt at Selinsgrove, Terry McCarl at 81, Jack Dover at I-80, Carson Short at 34 Raceway, and Cale Conley at Attica Raceay Park.
Jason Solwold swept Summer Thunder Sprint Series action at State Fair Speedway, Justyn Cox won the weekly opener at Placerville Speedway, and for the third time in as many week, Michael Ing won at Marysville Raceway.
