PETERSEN MEDIA: As the Summer months roll in, Speedweek season takes center stage in both Sprint Car and Midget Racing, and with Indiana Midget Week officially in the books it was Spencer Bayston and Keith Kunz Motorsports celebrating at the end of a tough week.
Ending the week strong with a win at Lawrenceburg Speedway and a second place run at Kokomo Speedway on Sunday, Bayston was able to use his KSE Racing Products to claim the coveted IMW crown.
Paying his dues on the World of Outlaw trail, Brent Marks was able to breakthrough and score his first career series win on Saturday night in Wilmot, WI. Following a downpour, Marks had his elbows up and used his KSE Racing Products to win form fifth and lap up to eighth in an absolutely dominating performance. Friday night in Michigan, David Gravel and CJB Motorsports scored their third series win of the 2018 season.
Aaron Reutzel won with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Lernerville Speedway while Lucas Wolfe won at Port Royal Speedway and Mark Smith took top honors at Selinsgrove Speedway.
Brian Brown again used his KSE Racing Products to score at Knoxville, while Kyle Hirst found victory lane again with the King of the West Series in Tulare, CA. Paul Nienhiser scored another MOWA win at Lincoln Speedway while Chad Kemenah, Mark Dobmeier, Derek Hagar, Jason Barney, and Andrew Felker were also victorious with KSE Racing Products.
