PETERSEN MEDIA- Following a successful stint aboard the BDS Motorsports machine with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Robbie Price returned to the seat of his family owned entry and went on to capture his third win of the year on Saturday night at Skagit Speedway.

“We had some luck go our way on the inversion draw and the rest is history,” Price said. “They say it’s better to be lucky than good, and on Saturday night we had both some good fortune and a really good car.”

Timing the Millstone Heating and Sheet Metal/Wheeler Paint Works/Rod End Supply No. 21 machine in eight fastest in qualifying time trials, the Cobble Hill British Columbia native would go on to finish second in his heat race.

The inversion draw for the feature would end up being an eight, and that was good news for Price as it put him on the front row for the feature event.

When the green flag was displayed to the field, Price was hard on the throttle as he put the Wildlight Photography/Tru Square/Shark Racing Engines powered entry on the Skagit Speedway cushion.

Out front, Price was very strong, as he would leave the field in his wake. Doing everything right on this night, Price put the field on notice for the upcoming Bob’s Burgers and Brew Summer Nationals as he recorded his second consecutive win at the track, and third overall this season.

“It is great to get another win, and I really thank everyone who supports this deal,” Price said. “We have been really fast the last couple of weeks out, and hopefully we can carry that over to a big weekend here.”

Price and his team would like to thank Millstone Heating and Sheet Metal, Wheeler Paint Works, Rod End Supply, Wildlight Photography, Tru Square, and Shark Racing Engines for their support during the 2017 season.
