PETERSEN MEDIA- Climbing back in the No. 71p entry over the weekend with the IRA Series, Parker Price-Miller would have a bad fast racecar during the two nights of action, but incidents would knock him out of contention during both nights.

“It was a really fun weekend,” Parker Price-Miller said. “Just to go racing with my family only for the first time in three years or so was a blast. I was surprised with just how fast we were, but we were definitely in the hunt both nights.”

Friday night PPM checked in at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, WI where he would time the Indy Race Parts/Townline Variety/Chalk Stix machine in fastest in time trials, which line him up in the second row of his heat race.

Working his way to a second place finish, the Kokomo, IN driver would pull the nine pill in the redraw which placed him in the fifth row to start the feature event. Getting off to a very nice start, PPM would work his way up to fourth when he started battling with the likes of Terry McCarl and Kerry Madsen as the all jockeyed for position.

With a car chopping his nose off, PPM would be forced to take evasive action to avoid contact and it would result in him getting into the fence and ending his night a little early.

Saturday night the scene shifted to Cedar Lake Speedway where PPM would continue to showcase a strong car as he timed in seventh quickest after going out near the end of the time trial session.

Going from third to second in heat race action, Price-Miller would have another tough draw as the 10-pill on this night put him in the fifth row for the second consecutive night.

PPM would have the elbows up again on this night as he had made his way up to sixth in just five short laps. A restart on lap 10 saw him forge his way up to second where he would then wage war with Lynton Jeffrey and Kerry Madsen as the dazzled the crowd.

Amidst the battle, PPM would slide up into the wall and end up getting upside down and his night would come to an abrupt end.

“Saturday night I think we had the car to win, I just misjudged a pass attempt,” He added. “Again, a really fun weekend with my family and I look forward to doing it again soon.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank Townline Variety, Chalk Stix, Indy Race Parts, Bell Helmets, and PPM Titanium for their support.
