PETERSEN MEDIA: On the heels of a thrilling Saturday night in Knoxville, IA, racing action resumes LIVE on TheCushion.Com May 13th as the mighty 410’s headline the show along with the 360’s and 305’s.

 

“The first two races have been exceptional at Knoxville Raceway, and we are exciting to see what this Saturday night has in store for us,” Ian Marvuglio of T2 Digital said. “Brian Brown and Ian Madsen put on a memorable show last week, and like the rest of the country, we are eager to see what happens this week.”

 

During last week’s 410ci race, Ian Madsen got out to the early lead, as opening night winner, Brian Brown, fought hard through traffic to make the closing laps exciting. As Madsen got slowed in traffic on the race’s final lap, Brown closed in on the leader but it was Madsen hanging on to grab the win and give himself a 410 win at the track after winning the 360 race on opening night.

 

Both Madsen and Brown are expected to be back in action tomorrow night, and they will be joined by Craig Dollansky, who makes his debut aboard a second Lynton Jeffrey entry, Terry McCarl, Lynton Jeffrey, Austin McCarl, Terry McCarl, Davey Heskin, Matt Juhl, and many more of the best that the Midwest has to offer.

 

Early 360 point leader, Clint Garner returned to his winning way last week In 360 action. Garner has been strong in the track’s first two events of 2017 as he looks for more Knoxville lore this weekend. The Knoxville favorite will be back in action on Saturday night along with Jamie Ball, Matt Moro, Calvin Landis, Joe Beaver, Devin Kline, McKenna Haase, and many others.

 

The 305ci division will also be on hand to complete the three-headed sprint car monster that has become the norm at the Marion County Fairgrounds. Drivers like Kevin Hetrick, Kade Higday, Joe Simbro will lead an extremely talented field of rookie drivers to the famed ½ mile in what is becoming an exciting weekly class.
