(PETERSEN MEDIA- Aptos, CA)- On the heels of an action packed inaugural event at the Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA on Saturday night, the IMCA All Star Modified Tour returns to action on Saturday night at the Merced Speedway.
With early events in the series’ debut season washed out, a make up race was added to the schedule this Saturday night at the Merced Speedway. Using the momentum from a last lap pass during the first ever event, another star-studded field is expected to be on hand.
Last weekend fans were treated to quite a race between Bobby Hogge, Duane Cleveland, and eventual race winner Troy Foulger. While Hogge would have mechanical gremlins hamper him late in the race, Foulger would use some late race heroics to become the series’ first ever win by way of a final turn, final lap pass.
Hogge, Foulger and Cleveland are all expected to be on hand on Saturday night and others that are likely to join them include Ryan McDaniel, Paul Stone, Nick DeCarlo, Stephen Hopf, Riley Simmons and many more are also expected to be on hand.
Saturday night at the Merced Speedway Adult tickets will be available for 12$, Seniors and Student will be admitted for $10, Children for just $5, and kids five and under will be admitted at no charge.
