PETERSEN MEDIA: A monster weekend of racing saw many regions get underway after a brutal winter, and KSE Racing Products helped a ton of teams find victory lane.
One of the biggest stories of the weekend came from Tulare, CA. In King of the West and Civil War action at the Thunderbowl, it was Bud Kaeding using KSE Racing Products to win both feature events and sweep the night.
Tucker Klassmeyer was also able to get his broom out as his Keith Kunz Motorsports entry was extremely sporty with the Lucas Oil POWRi Series. Klassmeyers picked up the win on Friday night in Belleville, IL before scoring another one on Saturday night in Pevely, MO.
Sweeping was the theme of the weekend. Daryn Pittman took advantage of a two-race weekend to score his first two wins of the season. Piloting his potent Kasey Kahne Racing entry, Pittman won at ‘The Ditch’ on Friday night and bested the field at I-55 on Saturday.
Austin McCarl had a Saturday night he will soon not forget. Growing up watching his father, Terry, win countless races at Knoxville Raceway, McCarl was finally able to make the long awaited right hand turn into victory lane after the scales. Using his KSE Racing Products in the TKS Motorsports entry, McCarl picked up his first career Knoxville Raceway 410 feature event win.
Other winners over the weekend included Danny Dietrich, Lucas Wolfe, Mark Smith, Sam Hafertepe, Jr, Kyle Hirst, Tim Shaffer, Jason Barney, Danny Smith, Justin Grant, and Matt Westfall.
